The newly launched South African RS Kart team will make their Regional debut this weekend, when a trio of red IPK branded karts take to Zwartkops Raceway on Saturday (22 February) for the first round of the 2020 Northern Regions Rok Cup.
Luke Hill will make history as the first driver to race the RS Kart chassis in South Africa and he is feeling confident of a good showing in Mini Rok. This will be Luke’s second season in the class and he is the reigning under 10 champion. Luke claimed second overall in a recent club race and is excited to be on track again.
Ayden Hall is ready to wear red and will be taking on the robust OKJ field. His IPK kart looks stunning on track and should serve as a warning beacon to his fellow competitors. Ayden’s confidence will be at an all-time high after claiming fourth place overall at the recent club event.
Medical student, Carlo Oliver, will be competing in Rok’s flagship class, KZ2. Moving from DD2 will take some adjustment, but Carlo is ready to rub wheels with some of the biggest names in SA karting.
