Round 3 of the Northern Regions Rotax Max Championship will be taking place at Zwartkops Raceway this weekend, 3 October 2020 and no matter the weather the RS Kart team are sure to bring the heat.
A strong Bambino entry will lead the team’s charge.
Mattao Mason currently leads the Bambino championship and will be looking to further extend his points advantage. He took a hat-trick of victories last time out and will be feeling confident of his podium chances this weekend.
Maddox Mason is one of the youngest drivers in the field and he will be hunting down a podium finish. Mattox is currently tied 6th in the championship and will be looking to improve on this.
The weekend will mark Ewan Venter’s second regional outing. He has already shown great promise and is able to race wheel to wheel in this highly competitive class.
Mini Rok competitor, Luke Hill, will be taking part in Micro Max this weekend. The decision comes due to the long wait before the next Rok Cup event, which is only scheduled take place at the end of November. Although Luke is not part of this championship, he will relish the opportunity to gain seat time and will be looking to achieve some good results.
Josh le Roux will represent the brand in Senior Max. Despite the disappointingly small field, racing is expected to be close. Josh will use the opportunity to gain seat time and work on staying race fit for next year. Claiming a podium or two, will just be the cherry on the top.
Every weekend in which you get to race is a good weekend and the RS Kart team are feeling positive and in high spirits as they head to Zwartkops.
